Meet Pepper!

Meet Pepper, the official mascot of Pete Beckman Insurance. Pepper’s hatch date was on, or around, July 11, 2023 in Minnesota. We don’t really know for sure if Pepper is a “he” or “she” though! The next time Pepper goes to the vet, we will have “him” DNA sexed, so stay tuned for the official gender reveal! In the meantime, we will call Pepper a “he”.

Pepper is a Dusky Conure, or more specifically, a Dusky-headed Conure. The name comes from their gray head. They aren’t as colorful as the most common pet conures, but it’s their personality that makes them special. According to his breeder, they tend to be less nippy than most conures, but they are they are just as social, playful, goofy, and affectionate. He is definitely adorable!
